World Of Warcraft Mage

The World Of Warcraft Mage is a popular class. In World of Warcraft, the Mage is a serious damage dealer, who is about as tough as wet toilet tissue. Alright, the Mage isn't as weak as that, however without a pet and with only cloth armor, the Wow Mage is an attacking damage class. It's pretty hard for a mage to go solo in particular tight areas such as caves and dungeons. With enough space, soloing critters three levels high or more is no problem for mages.

Warcraft Mages are great in groups. With warriors and pets at the front holding off the enemies, the mage can hold back and use his amazing power, destroying the bad guys easily. Avoid going head to head with a sword-slinger in a melee. Frost them, run, slammed a fire bolt down their throat, Frost Nova, then run until you can Frost them again. Polymorph a mob if you're overwhelmed. Repeat! Frosting the baddies thereby retarding their abilities and stopping them from entering into melee range is what good mages can achieve.

A Warcraft Mage is no good without Mana, in fact it's useless. Mana is used up by Mages faster than for any other class. In between fights you'll have to wait as your mana recharges. And when you get to higher levels and are using spells that really suck down mana, this problem only becomes worse.

Regardless of your level or spec, your main priority when building your warcraft mage should be getting a hard hitting main hand weapon for maximum special attack damage and a fast offhand for increased poison application and other proc effects.

A wand can be a good friend to the World Of Warcraft Mage. So can mana potions. Learn to use both to keep yourself as active as possible. The quicker that you grind the quick you will rise through the levels. The want does not use mana and also allows for mana to regenerate thereby providing fast and cost free damage. For instant recharge, use a high level mana potion.
