Tips for Using Mickey Mouse and Disney Scrapbooking Ideas

If you have a stack of Disneyland photos or your a Mickey Mouse fan, you'll love these Mickey Mouse and Disney scrapbooking ideas.  It's easy just to use pre-made Disney stickers and papers, but you'll want to make your scrapbooking pages more unique and original.

Start by thinking of the main subject of the page before you even think about what Mickey Mouse and Disney scrapbooking ideas you can incorporate.  If you start with your embellishments you may find that your main subject of the page is overwhelmed or overshadowed by your accessories.

You don't want it to look like you just scattered your embellishments on your page.  Choose them carefully so they accent your subject and highlight your page layout.  In most cases, less is more when it comes to page embellishments.

Enough though it's tempting to try to add all your Mickey Mouse and Disney scrapbooking supplies to your pages, it won't look organized and well put together.  Keep this in mind as you plan out your page layout.

Choose a few select accessories and embellishments to use.  You may also consider doing additional pages rather than the one or two you had planned.  And think of how you can make these unique and original.  For instance, use two half-circles in one corner of the page to mimic Mickey's ears.  Or draw a roller coaster in the middle of your page and have your wording follow its curving lines.

Making your own pre-made Disney scrapbooking embellishments is easy.  Consider your cost savings before you buy too many pre-made embellishments and accents.

Mickey Mouse and Disney scrapbooking ideas can also get very creative.  You might take a picture of your baby and draw Mickey ears over his head.

You can incorporate a sticker of Mickey as if he's right in a photo with you.  Or use the state of California or Florida as your background, depending on which Disney you've visited.

Get creative and let your imagination guide you when making Disney-themed scrapbooking pages.
